The Importance of ScienceLaguna walked around the downtrodden building, searching for an entrance. The main entrance had collapsed, so he was hoping that there was another entrance. Much to his joy, he discovered an emergency exit of which the door was hanging on just one hinge. When Laguna tried to move the door, the hinge gave in, causing the door to fall to the ground. Laguna shrugged it off as he walked in, expecting the inside of the building to be equally damaged. While this was true for the most part, he was genuinely surprised when he entered another room deeper inside the facility. This one was completely pristine. The walls, ceiling and floor were perfectly white, but otherwise pretty empty. Laguna walked in further, looking around, wondering why this room was so clean when suddenly the door shut down. The Importance of Science by Hefaistus
"What?" Laguna asked as he turned around to look at the door.
"Hello and welcome to the Aperture Science computer-aided enrichtment center." A robotic voice said, with its origins remaining unknown.
The Doctor Is InThe door to his office swung open violently as the German doctor marched right through, his eyes locked onto a note holding in his hand. He hurried over to the bookcase in the room, before starting to dig through it, throwing books out of it until he found what he was searching for. He slammed it down on his desk, flipping through the pages rapidly until he found what he needed. He read the passage that the note pointed at and the Medic quickly swore, throwing the book through the room out of frustration. The Doctor Is In by Hefaistus
"Dummkopfs! Warum?!" The Medic groaned as he leaned on the desk, closing his eyes as he tried to think. He had unraveled the riddle that the Engineer had left behind and he now knew what had happened. This was bad, very bad.
Meanwhile, the Spy walked into the room, looking over at the Medic with a curious look.
"Well? What did you find out?" He asked. The Medic looked at Spy for a second over his shoulder, before looking back at he desk again, sighing loudly.
"Ich... I don't know..."
